First Church is at 63 South Main Street in downtown
Rochester (at the intersection of South Main and Liberty Streets.) We
are next to the Rochester Public Library, near the Friendly's Restaurant in the
center of town. You'll see two tall steeple churches in the center of
the city. Ours (above, right) is all white. The other, at the United
Methodist Church, has stripes.
If coming North on the Spaulding Turnpike: Get off at
Exit 11. At the end of the ramp, turn left and go .2 mile to the traffic
light. Turn right and continue on the main road through the second and
third lights. Go past Kentucky
Fried Chicken. At the next light (at Cumberland Farms) turn left onto
Route 108/South Main Street. Go about .2 mile and the church is on your
left, just after Friendly's Restaurant and the Rochester Public Library.
You can park in the municipal lot behind Friendly's, or turn left just
after the church, on Liberty Street, and park in the larger of the lots
on the right side of the street.
If coming South on the Spaulding Turnpike: Get
off at Exit 14. At the end of the ramp, turn right. Travel 1/4 mile to
the Traffic Light. Turn right and stay on that road for 1.2 miles
(through 3 traffic lights). The church is on the right. Parking: Turn
right on Liberty Street (just before the church) and park in the lot on
the right, or continue past the church and park in the municipal lot
behind Friendly's Restaurant.
